Carolina Rib Dry Rub Spices

This is a great classic rub for the Carolina Pulled Pork, ribs, brisket, poultry, lamb or pork.  Where it originally comes from I’m not sure but this is a great BBQ dry rub recipe.

I’ve tried this recipe and used it MANY times, and so far, no matter which meat I used it on, whether it’s pork, chicken, beef or even venison if you’re lucky enough to have some, it’s never let me down yet, and I’ve never had a single complaint! Everybody was too busy eating and licking their fingers and lips!! DEFINITELY a keeper as far as a dry rub goes! This IS however, at least in my opinion, a rub for use when slow smoking meat. If you think it’s for something you can cook in an hour, you’re simply gonna have a burnt exterior and a raw interior…basically food for the ‘possums, not humans. Take some time and re-learn the art of “slow food” vs fast food, which most of the fast “food” you buy or make, isn’t really much food at all, just processed who knows what. Cook slow, eat slow, and enjoy what you’ve made and eaten…and hopefully shared with other people! 😉
